Wien

Yesterday I did a bad thing. I ripped up my Prague Pass, thinking I was done with it. Unfortunately, you need it to leave the country, too. So I got to the main train station early (which isn't nearly as scary as the others) so I could fix that problem. Luckily, it only cost me about $25 and I found out that the train I was taking required a reservation! Good thing I'd ripped that ticket or I'd never have gotten a reservation, and then who knows what would have become of me!

On the train I had to sit near this obnoxious bunch of Czechs that would wake me up every other second with their obnoxious laughter. When they finally got off, the train was very peaceful. So peaceful, in fact, that as we passed through the Austrian countryside I saw five little deer running through the fields. I know! I'm not making that up!

I got to Vienna, which is gorgeous, and followed the directions to the hostel. However, as always, they are not as clear as they seem, and I got a little lost. Two hours later I finally found it, way on the outskirts of the city and up this HUGE hill. That's right, I lugged all my shit up a hill wearing a winter jacket with spring weather outside. I got to the front desk huffing and puffing and literally dripping with sweat. Nice.

Anyway, I'm here now and I'm going to prepare for a very exciting day tomorrow: Vienna Boys' Choir, Lipizzaner Horse Show, and lots of museums!

Oh, and Prague in conclusion: Cute city, but I don't think I'd ever go back. Unless I was with...11 people. And if you do go, book a hotel in the MIDDLE of the city. =)

Oh, and I added pictures at the bottom!
